Anne Shirley Baker Lowery, age 79, of Maryville, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 3, 2026. Born on December 1, 1946, in Palm Beach County, Florida, Anne lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and devotion to her family.

Anne dearly loved her family, found great joy in helping others, and above all cherished her relationship with God. Throughout her working years, she served for 13 years at CBBC and spent more than 15 years in retail with JCPenney and Perisian, where she was known for her dedication and caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Baker.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 61 years this past July 30th, Jack W. Lowery, Jr.; sons, Jason (Leia) Lowery and Brett (Debbie) Lowery; grandchildren, Ethan Jack Lowery, Alana Lowery, Miranda Bowen, Brianne Lowery, Ethan W. Lowery, and Jackson Lowery; brothers, Ronald (Cathy) Baker and Charles M. (Joanne) Baker; and sisters, Cindy (Greg) Rosslow and Linda Baker.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Anne’s memory to the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition.
