Anna Marie DelRe

February 15, 1932 — February 11, 2021

Anna Marie DelRe was carried away by the angels in the early morning of February 11, 2021, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony; her loving grandson Justin; and her sisters, Sophie DeCorpo, Delores LaMantia, and Genevieve Rennillo. She was the loving mother of Anthony, Michelle (Tony), Jim (Lynne), Mary (Weldon), and Mike (Jenny); and the loving sister of Louis Rennillo (Irene); and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the proud grandmother of Mary Beth (Ryan), Jenni (Evan), Adam (Brooke), Alex (David), Nick (Megan), Preston (Jarrod), Cameron, Megan, and Nick. She was the proud great grandmother of Ben, Evie, Lake, Chloe, Kynnedi, Connor, Rebecca, Nolan, and Cohen. She was a wonderful loving mother who loved to let everyone know how blessed she was. She was always ready at a moment's notice to show anyone pictures of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren. She was so proud of all of them. And, of course, we have to mention the love she had for the UT Vols. She loved to cheer them on and to call the athletic department to spread her concern, knowledge, and unrelenting advice to help them build a better team! She always had a smile on her face, even in the end. She is to be admired for her courage, strength, and never-ending love, faith, and trust in the Lord. She was a gem and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. Due to Covid restrictions, there will not be a memorial service.
