Ann Irene Owens

Ann Irene Breeden Stephens Owens, 88 of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at UT Hospital. She was born November 8, 1918, in Blount County. Ann Owens left a large and loving family. She was preceded in death by: Husbands, Arthur Paul Stephens and Ebbie Leo Owens; Son, Arthur Dean Stephens. Surviving children include: Paul Allen Stephens of Dyersburg, Frank Edward Stephens of Friendsville, Sue Ann Wilson of Morristown, Mary Katherine Mitchell of Newport, and Roger Leo Owens of Morristown. She had 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 8 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Richard Carnes officiating. Interment will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 8, 2007 at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 AM, Friday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
