Ann M. Henry

Ann M. Russell Henry age 79 of Townsend passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked for Proffitt's Department Store. As her only child, Mike and Ann were close. When her grandchildren were born they both meant so much to her and to her delight her great-grandchildren became what her world evolved around. Everyone who knew Ann knew the love she had for her family. Preceded in death by: Parents, Bill & Dicie Russell; Brother, Howard Russell; Sister, Wilma Woodby. Survivors include: Husband, Jack Henry; Son and Daughter-in-law, Mike & Kim Rogers of Townsend; Grandchildren, Traci & husband Clay Davis, Bryan Rogers; Great-Grandchildren, Cooper Davis and Carter Rogers; Sister & Brother-in-law, Billie & Ellis Holland of Maryville, Helen & Bill McKinney of Burnsville, NC, Sue & Dennis Sullivan of Dallas, TX, Ed Woodby of Maryville; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; Special friends, Patsy & Monte Walker, Pauline Wilson, and her Sunday School Class; several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Linginfelter officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
