Adam Sherwood

Sherwood, Adam Christopher age 20, born January 21, 1986, went to meet our Lord and Savior on November 19, 2006. Adam was a loving son and true brother, always a smile on his face and love in his heart. He never met a stranger and a friend indeed whenever needed. He took life with every embrace, and embraced it with no fear. Preceded in death by: Brother, Daniel Brian McCarter; Uncle, Michael P. Young; Grandfathers, Billy G. Franklin and Enrique Sherwood. Survivors include: Mother and Step Father, Kathy & Pat Dotson of Greenback; Father and Step Mother, Mario & Karen Sherwood of Midland, TX; Brothers, Jason, Matthew, and Micah Sherwood; Sister, Jessica Payne; Special Niece, Destini Sherwood; Nephew, Mikey Payne; Grandmothers, Mary K. Patterson of GA and Maria L. Sherwood of El Paso, TX; Uncles, Billy, Loren, & Marion of Georgia; Aunts, Detra, Lora, and Myra. Special friends, Crystal, Michael, Billy, Jimmy, Kym, Aaron, and Josh. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, with Rev. Toby Downey officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
