Thomas (Tommy) Black

Thomas (Tommy) Black passed peacefully at home in the early morning hours of November 14, 2017 at the age of 72. He was a resident of Blount County. Tommy loved fishing, boating, and water skiing. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Arthur & Mildred Black. He is survived by: Wife of 53 years, Brenda Pierce Black; Daughters, Debbie Black and Kim Black Phillips. He dearly loved his grandchildren, Brycen, Madison & Mason. Special thanks to UT Hospice, especially Pam Blocker and caretaker Louise Loan. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 17, 2017 at East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Cotton Kelly officiating.
