Spears Waters

Spears Waters, age 85 of Maryville, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020. He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A butcher by trade he worked for Selecto Packing Company and Quincy’s Restaurant until they closed. For the past 20 plus years he worked and was part owner of Davis Lumber Company until it closed last year. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Thelma Edith Waters; parents, Jake and Pauline Waters; siblings, Hubert, Lester, and Arnold Waters, Violet Miles, and Christine Trent. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa King; son, Nathan (Sandy) Waters; grandchildren, Josh (Joanna) King, Keleesta (Brandon) Janney; nine great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your choice of churches, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Houston Memorial Presbyterian Church of Maryville or Ailor Dale Baptist Church.
