Ruth V. Horis

Ruth V. Horis of Maryville, claimed her eternal reward Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Life Care of Blount County. Ruth was a member of Maryville Church of Christ where she along with her husband was dedicated to serving the Lord and witnessing to others. She was a licensed insurance agent and worked with her husband in his State Farm Insurance office. Preceded in death by: husband of 55 years, Thomas Horis; parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. Survivors include: Daughters, Pamela Nelson of Smyrna, TN and Kimberly Reeves & husband Robert of Maryville; grandchildren whom she deeply loved, Wyatt & Kelsey Nelson, Ashlee & husband Tyler Young, and Ansley Reeves and great-grandchildren, Kade and Easton Smith and Mason Young; sister-in-law, Betsy Vickery.
