Ruby Lee Baker age 76 of Seymour passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by: Husband, Gene Baker; Sister, Mable Shoemaker; Brother, Clay Hannah; Mother, Georgie Russell. Survivors include: Sons, Cas Farley and Delmar Farley; daughters, Evelyn Shoemaker, Patricia Finger, and Dana Jones; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brothers, Lonnie Hannah, Jake Hannah, and Preston Hannah; Sisters, Margie Proctor, Birdie Sands, Mary Ruth Downey, and Irene; Step-Daughters, Annette Baker and Sherrie Baker; Special Friend, Norma Burchfield. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Mark Covington officiating.
