Robert Wayne Pritchett II

July 25, 1990 — February 8, 2022

Robert Wayne Pritchett II, a strong and beautiful man, was the young age of 31 when he left this life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He born on July 25, 1990 at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. According to the doctor, he had a strong set of lungs. Rob lived his entire life in and around Maryville, Tennessee. His mother Raeme Pritchett, and father Wayne Pritchett, loved him greatly and have no idea how to move forward without him. Rob has a younger brother, Ray Pritchett. Together the Pritchett boys were each other’s constant companion and strongest ally. In his younger days, he loved snowboarding with his brother. There were winter breaks when Rob and Ray would snowboard five days a week. Rob graduated from Maryville High School, then received a full engineering scholarship to The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Many will remember him as such a smart man. His mother tells the story of how he prepared for the ACT college entrance exams by sharpening two pencils. He decided to take a different path after a year of college. Rob chased adventure with his best friend Miller Glenn. He and Miller would ride motorcycles and rode The Tail of the Dragon countless times. With the recommendation of his friend Miller, Rob began working at Alcoa Aluminum as a contractor in 2013. His management team so valued his work that in 2015, they helped him become the first permanent staff hired in 10 years. As an adult, Rob embraced the Japanese culture of the samurai: frugality, honor, discipline, loyalty, respect, and ethics. During his free time, he enjoyed video games and anime. He loved playing video games so much, that at the end of high school, he told his mother that instead of working, he planned to sleep on friend’s couches and play games around the clock. Rob could be a man of few words. He was often soft spoken, but when called for, he would speak with powerful conviction. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Narrow Ridge Burial Preserve, 1936 Liberty Hill Road, Washburn, TN 37888.
