Ona Gaylon Headrick Gillespie

Ona Gaylon Headrick Gillespie, age 96 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Kindred Care Fairpark. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was employed with Standard Knitting Mills and later, Levi’s Company. She was preceded in death by her 1st Husband, Edward Headrick and 2nd Husband, Herbert Gillespie; Brothers, Earl Gaylon, Arthur Gaylon, Dexter Gaylon; Sisters, Ruby Esta Lee, Velma, and Golda Mae; Special Niece and Nephew and caregivers, Brenda Northern and Larry Headrick, and several other nieces, nephews, and Sisters, Euretha and LaVergne also survive. A Celebration of Ona’s life will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Interment to follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
