Neva Tipton Shirley

Neva Tipton Shirley, age 99 ½ of Louisville, went home to be with The Lord Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the family home. Neva was a faithful and devoted and the oldest member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir. She was a talented seamstress and an avid reader. She loved to travel and was able to many states and different countries. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Shirley and her brother, Harold Neal Tipton. Survivors include her sister, Betty T. Smith; nieces, Alexis Smith Viverette of Louisville, Leah Allison Smith, nephew, Buddy Smith; Nieces, Crystal Garland, and Scarlett Tipton. stepson, Rob Shirley; stepdaughter, Sherri Hill. Private services will be held at Grandview Cemetery with a celebration of Neva’s life to be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Neva’s name to the Sevier Heights Baptist Church Mission fund, 3232 Alcoa Highway, Knoxville TN 37920.
