Melinda Ruth Russell

Melinda Ruth Russell, age 43 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was born in Maryville and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by Grandparents, Ruth and Paul Russell; Great Aunt, Martha “Sissy” Russell; and Grandfather, Hobson Jones. She is survived by her parents, Robert E. Russell of Maryville and Deanna Mary Jones of Kingsport, TN.; Brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Russell of Maryville, and Jamie and Angel King of Kingsport; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Leslie and Andy Baker of Maryville, Jenifer Rolen and partner, Molly Rolen of Knoxville, and Tiffany and Matthew Edens of Kingsport; many nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. A Celebration of Melinda’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the Smith Trinity Chapel.
