Mayme Sue Harris Blair, 104 years old, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Mayme was born January 2, 1915 in Monroe County. She married Clarence W. Blair February 9, 1934 and was a member of Springview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence W. Blair; parents, Walter and Belva Harris; children; 4 infants, Christine Kelso, Shelby Chapman, Paul Blair; granddaughter, Missy McCall Giles; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; stepmother, Prudie Harris; son-in-law, Darrell “Red” McCall; daughter-in-law, Joan Blair. Survived by sons, Robert Blair, Marvin Blair; daughter, Pat McCall; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Dave Harrison; son-in-law, David Kelso; daughter-in-law, Ann Blair; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and 1 due in August; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Garner officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 AM for interment service on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Hopewell Springs Cemetery in Madisonville.
