Louise Cutshaw Jones

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Louise Cutshaw Jones was called home to reunite with her heavenly family on August 6, 2018. She was born November 3, 1924 in Blount County to Artie and Ernest Cutshaw. Her family moved to Middlesboro, Kentucky when she was a child where her father worked in the coal mines. The family returned to Blount County when she was a teenager and she graduated from Everett High School and Knoxville Business College. Louise worked for the AF of L Labor Union, Tennessee Gas Company and later retired from Levi Strauss in 1998. Louise married Estel Jones on September 4, 1943 and raised three children, and helped raise grandchildren, great-grandchildren and foster children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Estel, parents, Ernest and Artie Cutshaw, brother, Jack Cutshaw, and sisters, Johnnie Plumlee and Ernestine Teffeteller. She is survived by children: Lonnie Jones and wife, Connie of Prescott Valley, AZ, Sharon Tipton and husband, Harold, of Maryville, TN and Ben Jones and wife, Sonya of Maryville, TN. Grandchildren: Matt Jones, Amanda Jones, Riley Jones, Jessica Currin, Nicole Leasure and Emily Tipton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces, all of whom she loved dearly. Special thanks to Hospice for their kindness and care and especially to Heather, Candy and Jenna. Louise touched the lives of many children throughout her life. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Smith East Hall. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 10, 2018 at Grandview Cemetery.
