Lena Mae Tipton

Lena Mae Tipton, 82, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born March 6, 1936, and was a long-time member of Piney Level Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Effie Foxx; father- and mother-in-law, Wiley and Pauline Tipton; brothers, Herbert and Hulet Foxx; sisters-in-law, Esther Foxx and Mary Evelyn Foxx; brothers-in-law, L.C. Tipton, Charles Schlangen, Glen Tucker; nephew, Tim Tipton; nieces, Carolyn Foxx and Angela Tipton. She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Dale Tipton; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Doug Simpson; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Teresa Tipton; grandchildren, Chelsey and David Brown, Chase Stevens and fiancé, Macy Burns; Cory and Victoria Green; Haley and Wayne Baldwin; great-granddaughter, Hallie Green; brothers, Hix Foxx, Earl Foxx; sisters, Ruby Schlangen, Thelma Jean and Mike Tipton, Sue Tucker, Barbara and Reece Boling, Janice and Wayne Teffeteller; brother-in-law, Bob and Bobbie Tipton; sisters-in law, Brenda and Ronnie Leigh, Jackie Kitts; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith's West Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with the Rev. George Macht and Rev.
