Lavonda Kerr Phelps

Lavonda Kerr Phelps age 69 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at UT Medical Center. She retired from The University of Tennessee in 2005 after 32 years of employment. Lavonda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: husband of 43 years, Donald Lynn Phelps Sr.; father, Johnny A. Kerr; mother, Mary Josephine Kerr; sister, Larinda Kerr Jago. Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Lynn & Erin Phelps; grandchildren, Kinsley Phelps & Brayden Phelps. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM with Rev. George Miller officiating.
