Keith Hall Burroughs

Keith Hall Burroughs, age 58 of Maryville, TN, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018. He was a graduate of Florida State University where he performed in the Flying High Circus. He served as the Assistant Director and Coach of the FSU circus for nine years. Keith was the Physical Education Teacher at John Sevier Elementary for 17 years. He was the founder of the Unicycle Clubs at Coulter Grove Intermediate School and John Sevier Elementary School and coached many community sports. Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Burroughs. Survivors include: wife, Amy Burroughs; son, Joseph; daughters, Julia and Caroline; father, Phillip Burroughs (Anne); sister, Johnna Staudenmaier (Greg); niece, Kirsten. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at the Smithview Pavilion with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Keith Burroughs Memorial Fund set up at a local bank, for the college education of his three children; Joseph, Julia, and Caroline.
