Karen Jeanette Fragasso

March 8, 1965 — March 2, 2019

Karen Jeanette Fragasso, born March 8, 1965, went to be with Jesus Saturday, March 2, 2019. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Karen was an active member of First Apostolic Church of Maryville. Karen had a great love for Jesus. She was very passionate about missions, children, her farm life, sign language, and coffee. Karen never met a stranger and she was loved by everyone who knew her. Our loss is Heavens gain! Karen was preceded in death by her father, Richard Chenevare; step-mother, Marge Chenevare; and daughter, Rhonda E. Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Mark Fragasso; mother, Sandra Morgan and life partner, Phil Terry of Inkster, Michigan; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Christopher McGill of Greenback, TN, and Casondra and Daniel Toral Jr. of Maryville; Son, Ronald Johnson, Jr. of Maryville; grandchildren, Makenzee, Parker, Mason, Cobrien, Blaiden, Daniel, RJ, Xzavier, Tycen, Samara, and Hailey; great grandson, Tate; siblings and their spouses, Frank and Donna Chenevare of Parma, Ohio; Eric Reese Chenevare and life partner, Mona Mayo; Tara Nelson of Lincoln Park, MI; Brenda Chenevare of Flat Rock, MI; and, Russell Chenevare of Taylor, MI. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019, at First Apostolic Church of Maryville with Rev. Kenneth Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in Grandview Cemetery.
