Joan Frances Cheroni, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at Foothills Transitional Care. Joan was a member of First United Methodist Church of Alcoa. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Bessie Kippley. Survived by her husband, James Ivan Cheroni; sons, Larry Kenneth Hoffman of Tucson, AZ, Robert Gerald Hoffman of Alcoa, TN; daughters and sons-in-laws, Tonya and Blaine Meche of LaFayette, LA, Theresa and Rodney Simpson of Lucedale, MS; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald Kippley and Mary Ellen of Grand Island, NY, Jim and Mary Kippley of Vero Beach, FL; special friends, Mary Lou Tipton of Lucedale, MS, Toots Webb of Ocean Springs, MS.
