Joan H. “Nan” Beets, age 69 of Maryville, TN passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Harrison and Golda Hill; siblings, Carol Hill, Harrison “Babe” Hill, Evelyn Breeden, Sheila Neely. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Billy Gene Beets (aka Daddy Bill); daughter, Missie Loveday; sons, Billy J. Beets (Krystal), Anthony Beets; grandchildren, Marcus Finger, Dylan Beets, Cindy Beets, Dustin Beets, Skylar Loveday, Morgan Beets, Brylee Long, Bryson Beets, Tucker Beets; several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Smith’s Trinity Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Gary Neely, Rev. Harrison Hill, and Rev. Robert Burns officiating.
