Jessie Ward Hines

Jessie Ward Hines, 95, loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, of the Nails Creek Community took the Lord’s hand and entered the Pearly Gates on July 5, 2018 surrounded by family. Jessie was the oldest living member of Central Point Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by: Husband, JC Hines; Daughter, Phyllis Hines; 5 brothers; 4 sisters. Survivors include: Sons, Calvin (Janie) and Gerald (Ann) of the Nails Creek community; Daughters, Sue Tessener (Jerry) of North Carolina and Karen Thatcher (JT) of Greenback; Eight Grandchildren; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Ralph Ward of Florida; Sister, Corrina Headrick of Knoxville; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family members. The family would like to thank UT Hospice for all their care and support.
