Glen Roger Edmondson

Glen R. Edmondson age 84 of Maynardville, TN passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Glen retired from General Motors with 25 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was kind to his neighbors and responsive to the needs of others. He was an affectionate man known for greeting those he loved with a pat on the back and a genuine smile. Preceded in death by: Wife, Lynne Edmondson; Brothers, Harrell Edmondson, Myrl Edmondson, Earl Edmondson, Robert Edmondson, Ray Edmondson, and Marshall Edmondson; Sisters, Kathleen Bennett, Imogene Edmondson, and Lela Edmondson. Survivors include: Children, Bob Edmondson, Kathy Edmondson, Debbie Miller (Bob), John Gourley (Debbie), Kathy Johnston (Brian), Kevin Gourley, Jim Gourley; Grandchildren, Melissa, Shawn, Matthew, Sarah, Rachel, Silas, Aidan; Sisters-in-law, Nellie Edmondson, Leanna Edmonson, and Sue Edmondson; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Mickey Rainwater and Rev. Gilbert Harris officiating.
