Gladys Faye Spires age 81 of Greenback went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at home. She was a member of Greenback Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Lloyd Petty & Geraldine Petty; Sister, Carolyn Russell. Survivors include: Husband of 63 years, Harrison Spires; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Rick & Tia Spires and Michael & Lisa Spires; Grandchildren, Robert Spires, Jessica Spires, Matthew Spires, Whitney Randolph, Amanda Young, and Caitie Newton; Seven Great-Grandchildren that were dearly loved by her; Brother & Sister-in-law, Lloyd Petty Jr. & wife Martha; Brother-in-law, Jay Russell. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Lonnie Shockley officiating.
