Garvis Eugene Eaves

On Friday, January 4, 2019, Garvis Eugene “Gene” Eaves of Maryville, TN, loving and devoted husband and father passed away at the age of 80. Gene was born in Louisville, MS. Retired from Sales management at Bryan Foods, he was an avid golfer, a faithful Mississippi State, TN Lady Vols, Maryville Rebels and Maryville Scots fan. Gene was preceded in death by siblings Dot Nance, Garland Eaves, Barbara Kelly, and Glenda Woodruff. He is survived by his wife Charlsie Eaves: siblings Betty Hatcher and Jimmy Eaves: children Cathy Sedberry (Bill) of Enterprise AL, Chris Eaves (May Bryan) of Hamilton, MS: stepchildren Stacey (Jeff) Handel, Dale (Lori) Montgomery, and Wendy Montgomery all of TN: eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until & 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Smith West Chapel.
