Douglas Dale Denton

Douglas Dale Denton, age 85, of Maryville passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at UT Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Mason. Doug attended Hiwassee College and had a long successful career with Delta Airlines. He loved his farm where he raised beef cattle. Doug loved his family and believed in mercy and goodness. He will be missed by his family and friends and will be remembered for his quick smile and his great sense of humor. Preceded in death by: parents, Issac and Flora Denton; son, Mike; daughter, Cherie. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Denton; brothers, Hugh and Harry Denton.
