Dorothy (Dot) Rogers-Jenkins

Dorothy (Dot) Rogers-Jenkins of Alcoa, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on January 4, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Dot was a special lady to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved shopping and enjoying life with her sisters. Dot is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Eleanor Harrill, Helen and Bob Hutsell; grandchildren, Billy and Tammy Palmer-Edwards of Lake Charles, LA , Todd Palmer of Richmond, VA; great grandchildren, Reed and Taylor Edwards of Lake Charles, LA; nieces and nephews, Bobbie Hutsell, Maria and Tim Cole of Bonner Springs, KS. Dot was preceded in death by her husband, D.H. Jenkins; her daughter, Patricia Palmer; son-in-law, Jim Palmer; parents, Hubert and Mag Nola Rogers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia and Cecil Hackney, Wilma and Dude Allison, Walter Harrill; brother, Alfred Rogers. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 8, 2018 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Grandson Billy Edwards officiating.
