Dorothy Carolyn McConnell age 73 of Greenback passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the family home. She loved the mountains and creeks and her family. Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Parents, Clyde & Zula LeQuire; Brothers & Sisters, Don LeQuire, Gordon LeQuire, Bob LeQuire, and Wanda Walker. Survivors include: Husband, William Glenn McConnell; Son, William “Gene” McConnell of Greenback; Daughter & Son-in-law, Melinda Springer & Fiancé Jimmy Farmer of Maryville; Grandchildren, Caitlyn & Matthew Hunter, Sarah Springer, Keli Smith & husband Josh, and Brittany McConnell; Great-Grandsons, Ferguson Hunter and Aden & Ethan Smith; many nieces, nephews, and other family.
