Don Clayborn Sparks

Don Clayborn Sparks, August 9, 1933 to January 27. 2018. Don was born in Loudon County, TN and traveled the entire United States. He took up residence in California, before finally settling in Maryville, TN. After honorably serving his country, he met and married the love of his life Anna Jacqueline Casey. His parents were Jerome L. Sparks and Vina M. Sparks Young. Preceded in passing was step-father Clayton Young, brothers James H. Sparks, Coy L. Sparks, sisters Shelby J.Cooper and Charlotte Gibson. Beloved active siblings include Joy Green, Brenda Jo Pass and Franklin D. Sparks. His children were Phillip C. Gipson (deceased), Robert C. Burnette, Joseph W. Gipson (Shellie), Lucinda L. Bethuy (Dennis), Donna J Vago (Eric), Leona M. Sparks (Keith), Alice (Baby Alice) L. Sparks Mattice (Mickey). Grandchildren Carrie, Coy, Jake, Bryan, Lauren, Sara and Rachel and 5 great grandchildren. Don was a truly wonderful loving husband, father. brother, and friend. Always willing to lend a helping hand. May God guide him as he continues his journey. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service to follow.
