Delores P. Block

Delores Block of Maryville went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Delores served her country as a military wife for thirty years and made 22 houses into homes for her family. She was an avid duplicate bridge player and was a Very good bowler for most of her adult life. Delores was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and served for fifteen years as treasurer of the Williams-Hensen Home for Boys. She was Preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Tilla Marquardt; three brothers, Loyd, Herald and Charles Marquardt. She is survived by Bob, her Husband of Sixty- nine years; daughter and Son-in-law, Cynthia and Bruce Fulton; son and daughter-In-law, Richard and Angela Block; granddaughter, Lauren Block; sister, Marilyn Marquardt; and many nIeces and nephews. A Private interment service will be held at East TN Veterans Cemetery. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
