David Michael Nuchols

April 30, 1965 — February 11, 2020

David Michael Nuchols age 54 passed away February 11, 2020 in Tampa, Florida. He was a 1983 graduate of Maryville High School and a 1989 graduate of The University of Tennessee Knoxville with honors where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in finance. Mike received his Masters degree from University of Dayton, Ohio in 1994. He spent his entire career working as a comptroller for the United States Air Force. Mike was an avid U.T. football fan, enjoyed shooting guns and skydiving with the special operations command. He is preceded in death by: his grandparents, Joe and Nora Carver, John and Verna Nuchols; uncle, Gene Nuchols. Survivors include his wife, Mary-Kate Seward; parents, David and Jo Nuchols; brother, Bryan Nuchols; sister and brother-in-law, Jodi (Nuchols) Self and husband Frank; nephew, Daniel Daws; aunt, Dora Nuchols, as well as several special cousins and close friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church Maryville. A memorial service will start at 3:00 pm with Dr. Bill Booth, Rev. Charles Ballard, Rev. Chris Pass, and Rev. Rebecca (Nuchols) Roberts officiating. A reception will follow in the Family Life Center of the church.
