David Joseph Bailey

David Joseph Bailey, 83 of Alcoa, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. After serving in the US Air Force in Japan, he settled in Northern California where he raised two daughters. He enjoyed spending time at Lake Berryessa. He retired from Marin County Mosquito Abatement District. He moved to Acworth, GA in 1996 and back home to Tennessee in 1999. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Luther & Lillian Bailey; Spouses, Beverly McDonald and Shirley Johnson; Ten Siblings; and Beloved Dog, Bailey. Survivors include: Daughters, Debbie (Ken) Phillips and Vicki (Dave) Clark; Grandchildren, Sarah (Russell) Hayes, Jonathan Phillips, Katelyn (Logan) Love, Macy Clark; Great-Grandchildren, Gannon Philips, Thai, Madison, Savannah Love, Greyson Lawson; Siblings, Irene Comer, Kathyrene (Edward) Gibbs and Larry Bailey. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. John Whitehead officiating.
