Charles Augustus Myers

Charles A. Myers age 86 of Walland passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. Charles was saved in 1953 in Gastonia, NC. He loved the Lord, farming, and traveling. Preceded in death by wife of 60 years, Lillian Louise Ledbetter Myers; sister, Hazel Beaty; brothers, Hugh Myers, Ray Myers; parents, Charlie and Mae Shular Myers; brothers-in-law, Glenn and Mayford Ledbetter. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Wanda Myers, Tim and Sheila Myers, Danny and Jennifer Myers; grandchildren, Bryson Myers, Brooke Myers (Jason Rasar), Stacy (Billy) Franklin; brother, PA Myers; sister, Louise Woodruff; brothers-in-law, Luke and Mark Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Bobbie Ledbetter Reagan; special friend, Ella Mae Cope Dunn. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday, June 28, 2019 in Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Larry Teaster officiating.
