Charles Oley Kennedy Jr.

Charles O. “Charley” Kennedy, Jr. age 80 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the family home. Charley was a member of Hopewell Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Shriner with Kerbela Temple, a 32nd Degree Mason with Prudentia Lodge #719, and a Maryville Alcoa Jaycees. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps as well as the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kaye Patton Kennedy; parents, Charles O. “Bull” Kennedy, Sr., Minnie V. Byrum Kennedy; brothers, Harry “HB” Kennedy, Johnny P. Kennedy; sister, Billie Jayne Kennedy Wine. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Kennedy and Deann Joines; daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Kennedy Riden (Rick); grandchildren, Alec T. Riden, and Kelli Joines; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cincinnati Burn Shrine Hospital, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229.
