Betty Jean Reed

Betty Jean Reed age 75 of Maryville passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and retired after many years as a nurse. Betty always put her family first and she was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Viola Cardwell; son, Earl Reed; sister, Josephine Cardwell. Survived by daughters, Rebecca Hutsell of Maryville, Martha Bledsoe (Larry) of Alcoa; grandchildren, Derrick, Dallas, Haley, Taylor; many great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Cardwell (Barbara) of Maryville; sisters, Mary Orr of Maryville, Dorothy Garrett (Charlie) of Maryville. Special thank you for Don and Ruth Reed, Jimmy Brown, the staff at Blount Memorial Hospital, and all the family and friends.
