Barbara Ann Broome

Broome, Barbara Ann Epperson, age 70, passed away on August 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Blount Memorial Hospital, Maryville, TN. Born on November 8, 1947, in Maryville, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Bert and Marjorie Corene (Friar) Epperson. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David Steven Broome; her son, Steven Richard (Heather Garringer) Broome; grandson, Hayden Austin; sister, Mary Lou Epperson Liles; brother, Michael Dean (Linda Wilson) Epperson; nieces, Roxane (Michael Lederman) Ashe, Angie Ashe, Julie Ashe, Diane Epperson (Dennis) Kuntz; and nephew, Jason Epperson; brother-in-law, Dwight (Patsey Myers) Broome; nieces, Pam (Randy) Shoffner, Debra (Randy) Garland, Teresa (Billy) Smith; and great nieces and nephews. Her friends and family have many lasting memories from her beautiful artistic creations. She will be remembered too for her wonderful cooking (especially desserts!), her love of animals and her rescue of many puppies, and her kindness to everyone she knew. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Trinity Chapel.
