Ayriel Renessamay Hatley

March 19, 2014 — February 18, 2018

AYRIEL RENESSAMAY HATLEY, March 19, 2014, age 3 gained her celestial wings Sunday, February 18, 2018. Ayriel. Nail polish enthusiast. Living room prima ballerina. Lover of bubble baths and jelly beans. A rain dancing pluviophile. Style fashionista. Hoarder of purses. Collector of perfumes and lotions. Creator of joy and laughter. Avid thrift store shopper. Park adventurer. Monkey bar climber. Exert finger painter. Advocate of phone talking. Wearer of hairbows and house shoes. Conquerer of the water slide. Owner of ringlet curls and a contagious smile. Sonny’s best friend and Mommy’s favorite crafting partner. Milk junkie. Birthday cake connoisseur. Troll fanatic. Giver of precious hugs and kisses. Ayriel packed a lifetime of joy, excitement, fun and love into her short 3 years on Earth. Naturally she loved being the center of attention and she played the role of house princess very, very well. When she entered a room, it wasn’t long before you were aware of her presence. She was always excited to show this week’s shade of pink on her nails and yes, her toes were painted too. She was a natural born leader and she took great pride in being a big sister. She loved with her entire heart and you could tell that just by the twinkle in her eyes and the bright smile on her face. She was a lover of all things happy and she brought joy to so many peoples life. God & his ways are often a mystery, but Ayriel’s purpose for being here is evident. So, what can we learn from a 3-year old? We can learn to value life. We can take an extra 10 seconds and give that second kiss on our way out the door. We can be kind to one another. Laugh every single day, the kind you can feel in your tummy. We can learn that every day is a fresh start and that today something really great could happen. When you fall, pick yourself up. Scars hurt but they are also proof that we made it. Focus on what’s important. And the two most important, always remember the small things in life ARE the big things and pray every day. Matthew 5:4 Isaiah 41:10 2 Corinthians 5:7 Though Ayriel’s life was shortened by accident, her sweet loving sprit still lives among us as she taught those she left behind the meaning of perfect love for she loved so pure and great big for such a small child. Ayriel is preceded in death by her Nanny, Virginia Hatley (great grandmother) and Johnny Hatley (great uncle). She is survived by her parents Shanna Hatley and Jason Stewart, brother Jayce “Son”, grandparents Paul and Pepper Hatley, William and Sonia Trammell, and Tim and Becky Stewart, great grandparents Mike Bishop, Jim and Jennifer Mueller, and Victoria Gillenwater, uncle Tres Hatley and aunt Abbey Younkers, uncle Michael Locke, aunts Mackenzie Locke and Samantha Trammell.
