Walter Anton Riesenberg

Walter Anton Riesenberg age 78 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was one of twelve siblings born in Carroll, Iowa. Walter graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA, and was a CPA. He had a long career in finance and auditing. Preceded in death by: Parents, Margaret and Anton Riesenberg. Survivors include: Children, Julie Riesenberg Summers of Des Moines, IA, Erich Riesenberg of Des Moines, IA, and Tina Riesenberg Brill of Mount Juliet, TN; 4 grandchildren he dearly loved; Jaimie Summers of Des Moines, IA, Jordan Summers of Omaha, Nebraska, Isaac Brill and Nicole Brill of Mount Juliet, TN. Memorial donations may go to Catholic Charities. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Smith Chapel. There will be a meal served at the Smithview Professional Center following the services, and all are invited.
