Sarah Ellen Walker

Sarah Reneau (Deck) Walker, age 76, of Rockford, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 12, 2017, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. Sarah was born in Dandridge, Tennessee on June 14, 1940. Sarah was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted Christian and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. Sarah is preceded in death by her late husband, Ralph Deck, her father and mother, Charles and Sally Chrisman Reneau, her sisters, Georgia Heath, Juanita Chesteen, Judy French, and her brothers, Bill Reneau, Charles Reneau, and Ed Reneau. Sarah is survived by her husband, Bill Walker, her five children and their spouses, Linda Deck Inman (Mark Inman) Shelia Deck Copeland (Mark Copeland), Cindy Deck McDevitt (Matt McDevitt), Doug Deck (Kelly Tallent), Jason Deck (Michelle Walker), sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Jim Reneau, Curt Reneau, and George Reneau, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The receiving of friends will be held at Smith Trinity Chapel on Thursday, June 15, from 5:00-7:00. The funeral will immediately follow the receiving of friends officiated by Rev. Chris Reneau. Friends and family will meet at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, June 16, at 10:00 for a procession. The procession will go to Clark's Grove Cemetery for interment.
