Roger Lee Teffeteller, 66 of Maryville, TN, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning February 11, 2018 at his home after a 16 month battle with cancer. Roger was a member of Tuckaleechee Chapel Memorial Baptist Church. He worked for Alcoa Aluminum Company for over 40 years. During his time outside of work he loved “wheelin and dealin” in antiques, spending time in his garage, working on tractors and attending tractor shows with his dad and mom, he and Deb faithfully went on the “World’s Longest Yard Sale” every August. Saturday morning was always yard sale day. He looked forward to Thursday night card games with old work friends. His favorite sign on his garage was “I buy junk but sell antiques”, (a collector of ALL things). He was preceded in death by: Son, Justin Lynn Teffeteller; Parents, G. W. & Jean Teffeteller; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Robert & Ruth Stephens; Brother-in-law, Randy Stephens. Roger was survived by: Wife of 45 years, Deborah Teffeteller; Children, David Teffeteller and Nicki Dyer; Brother-in-law, Bobby Stephens; Sister-in-law, Tanvia Kresse; Brother, Trent Teffeteller; Sister, Mary Teffeteller; Niece and Nephew, Trenna & Travis Teffeteller; Niece, Ivey Harless; Great-Niece, Kiley Rose; Honorary grandchildren who call him “Ho-Ho”, Katie, Oliva, Emily and Cambry Hillman, Bailey and Tanner Brackin. During this difficult journey the family would like to thank Scott Elrod, Carl Jones, Bobby Stephens, Chip Ridener and special friends, Franny & Connie Brackin, Ronnie Millsaps, & Drew Roberts for their love and support during this difficult time.
