Mildred P. Sands went home to be with Jesus on May 4, 2017. Preceded in death by: Husband, Charles H. Sands; Son, Gene W. Sands; Parents, Charles & Nora Butler; Brothers, Junior (Charles), Homer, Shorty (Clarence), and Frank Butler; Sisters, Norena, Frances, Jessie. Survivors include: Daughter, Vickie Dunn; Daughter-in-law, Wilma Sands; Granddaughters, Jenny & Tim Whitehead and Misty & John Newcomb; Great-Grandsons, T.J. & Kayla Whitehead, Johnny & Jesse Newcomb; Great-Granddaughter, Angela Whitehead; Sister, Ruby Russell; Brother & Sister-in-law, Robert & Nancy Butler; Brother-in-law, Max & Vickie Beaumont; many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She will be remembered for her strong faith in God, her compassionate heart and love for her family. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
