Mary S. Coleman

Mary S. Coleman, age 94, born January 13, 1924 in Knox Co., passed away at home in Rockford on Monday, January 22, 2018. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She retired after 40 years with The Knoxville Journal. Preceded in death by: Husband, E. C. Coleman; Parents, Bill & Ruby Shelton; Brothers, Neal & Richard Shelton. Survivors include: Daughter, Martha Coleman of Rockford; Sister-in-law, Betsy Shelton of Lenoir City; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Preacher Kevin Ruiz officiating.
