Gladys Agnes Butcher

Gladys (Agnes) DeVault Butcher, age 74 of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. She retired from Property Management in Jackson, TN. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother and a friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Scott C. Haslet & wife, Danielle of Billings, MT and W. Taft Butcher & wife, Kimberly of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Kylie & Robert Haslet of Billings, MT and Nicole & Ashley Butcher of Maryville; sisters, Norma D. Phelps of Maryville, Anne D. Wilkinson of Greenville, SC; special niece, Julie Parris of Maryville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00pm Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Smiths West Chapel. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Curt McKee officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Blount County Humane Society.
