Gladys Ruth Lewelling Andes age 88 of Maryville passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the University of Tennessee. She was born April 27, 1929 in Maryville. Gladys was the Valedictorian of Everett High School Class of 1947-1948. She retired from ALCOA with over 37 years of service and was a member of their 25 Year Club. Gladys was also a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Billy Andes; Parents, George Mell & Blanche Russell Lewelling; Infant Brother, Jr.; Brothers-in-law, J.B. Crisp, Clarence Morgan, and Major Glenn Keith Sr. Survivors include: Sisters, Betty Crisp, Joy Morgan, Evelyn & Hugh Watson; Nephews & Wives, Major Glenn Keith Jr. & Norma, Michael & Lisa Watson, David & Becky Watson, Nathan & Teresa Watson, and Mark Watson; Nieces & Husbands, Diana Oakley, Pam & Donald Parz; Grand Nephew & Wife, Chris & Jessica Keith; Great-Great-Nephew, Christopher Keith; Niece, Janis McGhee Keith; Great-Great-Niece, Haley Keith; several other great-nieces and great nephews and great-great-nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating.
