Elizabeth Kulp Sanders

Elizabeth Kulp Sanders passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. Liz was born July 31, 1929, in Reading, PA. She was a graduate of Bucknell University where she met and later married Daniel T. Sanders. Her passion was teaching high school and spending time with family and her beloved dogs. Liz had a keen wit, a hearty laugh, uncommonly good common sense, and a verve for life. She is survived by: daughter, Jill Hartman (husband John); daughter, Karen Feather (husband Donald) of Maryville; grandson, Steven Feather (wife Morgan) and great-grandchildren, Sanders and Lucy of Maryville; grandson, Scott Feather (wife Christina) and great-grandchildren, Maggie & Samantha; granddaughter, Julie Campbell (husband Kevin) and granddaughter, Lori Pilon (husband Cody). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Elizabeth Sanders’ honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church Maryville, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville, TN, on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM.
