Connie Cochran Akin age 75 of Newark, DE passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Newark High School in 1959. Connie retired from Produce Marketing Association. She loved college football and driving through the Smoky Mountains. Preceded in death by: Father, Raymond G. Cochran; Mother, Ethel Cochran; Brother, William Cochran. Survivors include: Daughter, Ginger Akin; Son-in-law, Bruce Sylvester; Grandchildren, Kate Gabbard and John Gabbard, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
