Caleb Thomas Radford

October 3, 1998 — July 25, 2017

Caleb Thomas Radford, 18, walked into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on July 25, 2017. Caleb was greeted by his precious Uncle Jaison; and great-grandparents Grandmother Martha (Myers) and Mamaw and Papaw Carroll (Jiff and Gladys Carroll). What a celebration they are having! Waiting their day to rejoin Caleb on the streets of gold are his dad and mom, Lee and Robyn Radford; brothers, Colby and Connor; sister, Shelby Arwood; girlfriend and someday beautiful bride, Zion Alexis Long; and the gift given by our loving, merciful, and all-knowing Heavenly Father, Caleb’s son Kylon Thomas Leon Radford. Kylon was Caleb’s pride and joy. He spent his every moment loving, playing, and caring for his most prized possession, his baby boy. Caleb adored his parents, and they love him and thank God for blessing their lives by giving them Caleb. Colby and Connor look up to their big brother in every way, and he was crazy about them. Caleb is definitely the best big brother ever! Caleb and Zion have been best friends and soul mates for nearly seven years. Kylon is the most amazing gift that Caleb could have ever given to his family. Caleb’s survivors also include his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Caleb loved spending time with all of them. His grandparents are Michael and Jeanie Myers, Danny and Snow Jackson, and Eddie and Doris Radford. Caleb’s aunts and uncles treasure their precious little buddy. His aunts and uncles are Angie and Josh Daniels, Kim Radford and Shawn Coulter, and Rhonda Radford. Caleb’s lasting memories are also with his cousins Taylor Denton, Knecia Radford , Vivian Radford, Verlin Radford , Reed Daniels, Emma Daniels, Tate Daniels, Eliza Daniels, Snow Coulter, Shawna Coulter, and little Fitz Radford. They will always be Caleb’s comrades and best friends. Caleb was blessed with many great-uncles, great-aunts, and many cousins who were very close to Caleb and love him dearly. Caleb’s endless compassion, selflessness, and fun-loving nature made him a friend to everyone he met. Caleb had no enemies. Caleb and his “brothers from another mother,” DaeDae (Damien) and Malik Love, were inseparable. They had a friendship that most never experience, and it will carry on until they reunite. Caleb was a 2017 graduate of William Blount High School, where he played football for one of his all-time favorite coaches, Coach “Shad”. Caleb was an avid lover of sports. During his life, he played baseball, basketball, and football. Caleb has always seen the best in people. He always wanted to help others. Four years ago, on a youth retreat to Ridgecrest with his youth group from Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Caleb accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We know that God’s plans for Caleb are far beyond what our minds can comprehend. Caleb will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was a young man that all were proud to call son, Da-Da, grandson, brother, love, cousin, nephew, or friend. “and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain…” Revelation 21:4 The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 8:00 p.m. at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Maryville, TN.
